This is a Review of my Results after trying this $100/day Method as recommended by this awesome YouTube Creator & Affiliate Marketing Expert, Alston Godbolt.
I first applied to be an Affiliate for Expedia.com (Expedia Group Affiliate Program) back on January 21st 2023. Had to sit tight as they reviewed my application which was later declined on January 23rd 2023.
One of the reasons given was that my site (DennisTheAffiliate.com) was suspected to be an “Illegible Site” per their Terms & Conditions. Another reason given was: my site was “Suspected of Prohibited Conduct” again per their Terms & Conditions. Lastly that “the information provided about my website was inaccurate”.
Needless to say, I was disappointed but also tried to understand being a new affiliate with no tangible results to show 😕.
It was back to the drawing board for the Niche I had selected: Travel. After much “Googling” I came across the Travel Payouts Affiliate Network the following month in February. I applied and to my pleasant surprise, my application was accepted!😀
I went ahead & applied and the application was ACCEPTED!!😀 So I have been promoting WayAway on this website as well as on my YouTube Channel. I even entered an Affiliate Contest and won 🏆 one of the many prizes from my promo content on my website 🙌.
What about the Expedia Affiliate Program. Here is some of what I found out on my research that may hopefully be of help to you.

Cons of the Expedia Affiliate Program:
1. Cookie Duration: One limitation of the Expedia Affiliate Program is the relatively short cookie duration. Currently, cookies are set to expire after a user clicks on your affiliate link and makes a booking within 7 days. This means you’ll need to focus on driving high-intent traffic to maximize your conversions.
2. Stringent Qualification Process: Expedia has certain qualification criteria for affiliates, which may require you to meet specific traffic and content quality standards before being accepted into the program. While this ensures a level of quality control, it can pose a challenge for beginners with limited website traffic.
Tips for Beginners Getting Started:
1. Build a Niche Travel Website: To stand out in the competitive travel industry, consider building a niche website focusing on a specific type of travel or destination. This allows you to target a more specific audience, establish yourself as an expert, and drive more targeted traffic.
2. Create Engaging and High-Quality Content: Content is key when it comes to affiliate marketing. Craft informative and engaging travel-related articles, destination guides, hotel reviews, and travel tips to attract and retain visitors. High-quality content helps build trust, encourages user engagement, and increases the likelihood of conversions.
3. Optimize for Search Engines: Implement search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve your website’s visibility in search engine results. Research relevant keywords, optimize your content, and build backlinks to increase organic traffic to your site.
4. Leverage Social Media and Email Marketing: Promote your affiliate links on social media platforms frequented by travel enthusiasts. Engage with your audience, share captivating visuals, and offer valuable travel-related insights. Additionally, building an email list allows you to nurture relationships and send targeted offers to potential customers.
5. Track Performance and Optimize: Regularly monitor your affiliate performance using Expedia’s reporting tools. Analyze which strategies and content are driving the most conversions and focus on optimizing those areas. Experiment with different promotional methods, placements, and messaging to maximize your earnings.
6. Stay Up-to-Date with Travel Trends: The travel industry is dynamic and ever-evolving. Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destinations, and customer preferences.
